Youth Empowerment Summit 2022

The California Coalition for Youth (CCY) is excited to kick off our Virtual Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) 2022!

This summit marks our 18th year of convening youth, community leaders, and youth service providers to learn, educate, advocate and collectively work with California’s Elected Officials to prevent and end youth homelessness in California. For 40 years CCY continues to be the primary public advocacy organization driven to improve and empower the lives of California’s youth with a focus on disconnected, runaway, and homeless youth. CCY represents several hundred youth and community agencies throughout California.

Our coalition acts as a voice for youth and young adults by advocating for public policies, programs, and services that respect, empower, and protect the rights of all youth. Annually, over 175 resilient youth and youth-serving adult advocates come together during YES, held each year in Sacramento, to share ideas, share stories & experiences, learn about research & best practices for effective solutions to serve California’s most vulnerable youth populations, network with peers- youth service providers- adult advocates from all over California.

CCY’s YES 2022 programming is shaping up to be fantastic for youth and those who serve youth. We’re looking forward to seeing all of you at this year’s completely virtual summit! YES 2022 will consist of inspiring speakers, current ideas to shape the future of California’s most vulnerable youth populations, and celebrating legislative, community, and youth champions engaged in efforts to prevent and end youth homelessness throughout California.

CCY believes YES 2022 attendees will receive new-found knowledge and understanding on how they can improve and empower the lives of California’s Youth. So click on the image above to register yourself, your staff, and your youth today!
